Bose has officially announced their augmented reality sunglasses that use sound instead of sight to transmit information. The glasses will mainly focus on the use of a built-in microphone and open-ear headphones to interact with Siri and the Google Assistant. The glasses could offer information about what we were seeing through the speakers in each of the arms of the sunglasses. It was not as accurate as the AR glasses that superimpose a digital screen to the real world, these audio focus was surprisingly effective.
Bose plans to send two models of sunglasses, one with round frames and another with square frames, and both will have a tinted glass that blocks UV rays. they only weigh 45 grams. Bose promises that you'll get approximately three and a half hours of music playback and 12 hours of waiting.
